Playa de Arnao

Playa de Arnao is a 450-meter sand beach tucked between rocky cliffs with light-colored sand and clear water views. The Ribadeo bridge spans the estuary beyond, creating a distant landmark visible from the shore.

The area hosted mining operations that left their mark on the landscape in earlier times. A former castle was later restored and now stands as a trace of the region's industrial heritage.

A natural pool called La Hollina emerges at low tide, offering shallow and sheltered swimming. Beneath your feet lie fossilized coral formations that extend across much of the rocky seabed.
