Praia de Mellide

Praia de Mellide is a sand beach located on the western side of Illa de Ons with fine pale sand and natural dune formations stretching roughly 200 meters. Wooded hills frame the bay, creating a sheltered setting away from main paths.

The beach sits on an island with human settlement dating back to the Iron Age, with archaeological evidence showing centuries of habitation. This coastal area held value for early peoples and those who made their living from the sea.
