Caleta de la Soledat

Caleta de la Soledat is a shingle beach in l'Ametlla de Mar that narrows into several small coves separated by rocky outcrops. The shoreline transitions between pebble beds and sandy patches, with the seabed sloping gradually into the Mediterranean.

The beach has served as a fishing ground since the earliest days of l'Ametlla de Mar when the settlement first developed along the coast. Its rocky formations and cove structure have remained largely unchanged for centuries.

Local fishermen continue their traditional practices near the beach, demonstrating net-mending techniques and operating small fishing vessels throughout the day.

The beach is reachable on foot via an easy path, and there is unguarded parking nearby for visitors. The early morning or late afternoon hours tend to be less crowded, giving you more space to enjoy the coves.

At low tide, natural rock pools form among the stone formations and fill with trapped seawater that stays clear and cold. These tide pools attract small fish and crustaceans that you can observe without entering the sea.
