Mała Lady Punk, Bronze dwarf statue in Old Town, Poland
The Mała Lady Punk dwarf statue stands near the former Jazz Club Rura location, depicting a female rock fan figure in miniature form.
The statue was unveiled on June 25, 2022, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Polish rock band Lady Pank and their first single of the same name.
This bronze figure joins over 600 dwarf statues across Wrocław, connecting the city's anti-communist resistance heritage with contemporary Polish rock music.
The statue is located on Łazienna Street in the Old Town district, where visitors can find several other dwarf sculptures within walking distance.
The sculpture references both the 1981 song about groupie culture and the Orange Alternative movement that used dwarfs as symbols of resistance.
