Via Ferrata Roc d'Anglars: Tyrolienne D'Enfer, Mountain adventure course in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, France
Via Ferrata Roc d'Anglars is a mountainside climbing course on limestone cliffs near Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val with a combination of zip lines, footbridges, and rope elements. The complete route spans about 780 meters with a vertical drop of around 70 meters and offers different difficulty levels.
The course opened in July 2020 as part of regional development projects in Midi-Quercy. It connects with ancient pathways that run through the Aveyron gorges.
The course offers visitors views of the medieval village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and its surroundings from an elevated vantage point. This modern outdoor experience creates a new way to connect with the Aveyron valley landscape.
A 20-minute walk from the Roc d'Anglars viewpoint parking area leads to the course. Equipment rental and guide services are available on-site to ensure safe and well-supervised visits.
The course offers two separate paths: a beginner-friendly historical route and an advanced sport route with technical climbing sections and longer zip lines. This division allows people with different experience levels to enjoy the adventure together.
