Muzeum Pomnika Historii Frombork Zespół Katedralny

The Muzeum Pomnika Historii occupies multiple historic buildings on Cathedral Hill, including the former Bishop's Palace and the Holy Spirit Hospital. The rooms contain exhibitions about astronomy, religious artifacts, and scientific instruments from the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods.

The cathedral was founded in the Middle Ages and developed into an important spiritual and intellectual center for the region. In the 1500s, a prominent scholar worked here and changed European science through his studies of celestial mechanics.

The museum displays collections that document religious life and practices in this region over time. The exhibitions connect sacred objects with the everyday lives of people who lived and worshiped here across centuries.

Access to the different areas is available through well-marked paths on the hill, though some sections require climbing stairs. Visitors should allow enough time to explore all the exhibitions spread across the various buildings.

A special tower houses a Foucault pendulum and a planetarium that demonstrate Earth's rotation through hands-on physical experiments. These interactive installations allow visitors to experience principles of celestial motion firsthand.
