Moulin de la Jarousse, Tree house and hotel accommodations in Angoisse, France
Moulin de la Jarousse is a lodging facility with treehouses set on a forested property near Angoisse. The elevated cabins overlook a pond and the surrounding woodland.
The property started in 1999 when an old mill was converted into an accommodation complex. The project incorporated natural building elements from the beginning.
The accommodations include themed lodgings such as the Bali cabin, which incorporates elements of Asian design and furnishings throughout its interior spaces.
The cabins are open daily from 15:00 to 20:00 and feature wood-burning stoves and dry toilets. A visit requires good footwear and a comfortable head for heights due to the elevated structures.
The Module cabin is reached by crossing monkey bridges suspended high in the trees. This unconventional access makes it a memorable experience for guests.
