Park-Camping Lindau
Park-Camping Lindau is a campground situated directly on Lake Bodensee in Lindau with pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes spread across flat terrain. The site features large trees providing shade throughout, modern sanitary facilities, a reception area, a small shop for basic supplies, and a wash facility near the waterfront.
The campground was privately operated for many years until 2021, when Lindau's tourism authorities took over and initiated significant improvements to the facility. Starting in 2022, lakefront pitches became available for reservation, expanding visitor options.
The campground attracts families and nature lovers who create an informal, neighborly atmosphere through shared outdoor spaces and evening gatherings. Guests naturally gather to chat with neighbors, share travel stories, and watch sunsets over the lake together, fostering a laid-back community feel.
The campground offers special transit pitches for passing visitors who can stay up to 24 hours without long-term booking. The site is easily accessible by bike or public transport, and all guests receive a guest card that includes free local public transportation.
Since 2022, the campground offers lakefront pitches without water, waste, or electrical connections, allowing visitors with long power cords and advance planning to enjoy direct waterfront access. These spots provide an immersive water experience but require self-sufficiency and forethought.
