Campingplatz Ecktannen
Campingplatz Ecktannen is a campsite near Waren on Lake Müritz in Germany, spread across nearly 17 hectares of spruce forest with direct water access. The site offers over 50 pitches with electrical and water hookups, log cabins for rent, holiday rooms, and comprehensive sanitary facilities with showers and hot water.
The campsite was developed to provide visitors with a place to stay on the shore of Lake Müritz, Germany's largest lake. Over time, the facility expanded and integrated modern infrastructure while preserving its natural character.
The name Ecktannen refers to the spruce forests that characterize the grounds and run through the site. Visitors notice how the trees shape the space and create both sunny and shaded areas that invite people to stay and rest.
The site is open year-round and allows online booking for reservations; its proximity to the town of Waren makes it easy to shop and explore by bicycle. Note that sanitary building 3 is currently closed for renovations until July 2026.
The site features a fenced dog run area reserved specifically for pets, allowing dogs to run free off-leash. In summer, a small swimming area by the water offers a refreshing place to cool off on hot days.
