Emsland-Camp
Emsland-Camp is a campsite in Haren on the Ems river with spacious pitches of roughly 120 to 150 square meters (1,300 to 1,600 sq ft), private bathrooms at each site, and an adjacent lake with sandy beach. The grounds include a restaurant, snack bar, children's playground, and equipment rental for bicycles, e-scooters, and SUP boards.
The campsite was developed as a project to create a modern leisure destination in the Haren region. It received recognition from travel experts in 2020 as one of the top camping and parking projects and continues to expand its facilities.
The campsite brings together families, dog owners, and nature lovers from different backgrounds. Visitors experience it as a friendly place where people spend time together and enjoy local and Spanish dishes at the on-site restaurant.
The site is located right next to the federal highway for easy access and offers free Wi-Fi with good signal strength throughout. A small shop sits directly next to the camp, while a supermarket is just a few kilometers away.
A dog-only beach section at the lake allows pets to run freely and cool off in the water. This feature makes the site an ideal destination for dog owners who want to bring their pets into nature.
