Càmping Beta, Campground in Soriguera, Spain.
Càmping Beta is a campground in the Pallars Sobirà mountains with around 200 pitches spread across natural terraces and space for up to 500 visitors. The site is organized on multiple levels that follow the slope of the land, integrating the camping areas into the hillside.
The campground was established during the expansion of camping tourism across Catalonia, when new outdoor facilities were being developed in rural mountain areas. Its creation was part of this broader trend that opened up the Pyrenees to visitors seeking mountain experiences.
The camp location connects visitors to traditional Catalonian mountain life through proximity to local festivals and regional gastronomic experiences.
The campground is easily accessible via the N-260 road at kilometer 288, with regular bus connections to nearby towns. This location on a well-developed road makes arrival and departure straightforward throughout the year.
The site sits at the junction of multiple hiking trails that cut through the Pyrenean landscapes of the Pallars region and connect to less-traveled mountain paths. Many of these routes link together to form longer circuits that let visitors explore remote valleys and ridges.
