Les jardins des Martels, Botanical garden in Giroussens, France
The garden extends across 3.5 hectares of landscaped terrain featuring numerous pools, hills, and more than 2500 plant varieties from five continents.
Marie-Thérèse and André Reynier established the gardens in the late 1960s as a private farm garden before opening it to the public in 1994.
The garden incorporates English design principles with large color-themed flower borders, including dedicated sections for pink, blue, and shaded plant arrangements.
The facility operates daily from 13:30 to 18:00, with adult admission at 8 euros, and includes parking areas and designated picnic spots.
The garden maintains France's largest collection of ceanothus, featuring 55 varieties, alongside 150 rose varieties and 120 iris species.
