Antinori nel Chianti Classico is a winery built into the Tuscan hills with an underground structure that houses production and storage areas. A suspended glass tasting room sits above the cellars, offering views of the wine-making operations below.

The Antinori family began producing wine in 1385 and has worked continuously since that time. This unbroken continuity across 26 generations has kept knowledge and skills alive through many centuries of change.

The space displays contemporary art alongside historical winemaking artifacts, showing how creativity and wine production connect. Visitors experience this relationship today as they walk through the rooms and see how the two have always intertwined.

Several tour options are available, ranging from shorter visits with three tastings to longer ones with four tastings at different points. The facility opens daily, making it convenient to plan your visit at a time that works for your schedule.

The facility uses a gravity-fed wine production system installed in 2012 that takes advantage of natural slopes. This design allows grapes and wine to move between different levels of the underground structure without pumps, reducing energy needs.
