Station Nuage is a waterfront restaurant and café on Île Forget, located in converted stable buildings. The venue features an outdoor terrace overlooking the Loire River and serves crêpes, mussels with fries, and other dishes.
The site grew from a transformation of former agricultural buildings into a public dining space. It became an established fixture in the region's cultural summer programming over many years.
The YokYok artist collective created a distinctive blue installation that defines the site's appearance today. This artistic intervention shapes how visitors experience the space while the restaurant continues its everyday operations.
The restaurant is generally open Thursday through Sunday, with shorter hours on Sundays. It helps to check hours in advance if you want to secure a good spot on the terrace.
The building's blue color came from an artistic project and stands out sharply against the green island surroundings. Visitors immediately notice how this color choice makes the structure pop from its natural backdrop.
