FreiSchwimmer Bar

FreiSchwimmer Bar features a swimming pool theme on the seventh floor of Cocoon Hotel with turquoise mosaic tiles, colorful deck chairs, palm trees and a decorative pool ladder without actual water.

Originally planned as a real rooftop pool for the Cocoon Hotel, structural limitations forced owner Johannes Eckelmann to transform the concept into a themed bar when it opened in June.

The establishment embodies Munich's outdoor leisure culture by creating an urban pool atmosphere where locals and tourists gather in a relaxed setting that celebrates the city's love for casual summer activities.

The bar operates daily from 4:00 PM until midnight with diverse seating options including bar swings, steps, loungers and small tables accommodating approximately forty guests with panoramic city views.

The signature 'Freischwimmer' cocktail combines tequila, blue curaçao, coconut syrup and lime juice, while the 'Spritz Palme' tower allows twelve glasses to be shared simultaneously for 111 euros.
