Port de Lutry, Marina in Lutry, Switzerland
Port de Lutry is a marina in Lutry, Switzerland, made up of two basins: the communal port and the Vieux-Stand port. The communal port has a central pontoon with visitor buoys, a crane, a ramp, and a small restaurant, while the Vieux-Stand port to the west offers many moorings and a harbour office.
The communal port was completed in 1836, and the Vieux-Stand port was added in 1998 to meet growing demand for moorings. A redevelopment of the old port is planned for the winter of 2027-2028, with floating pontoons replacing some of the concrete structures from 1966.
The quai Gustave-Doret, which runs alongside the communal port, is a favourite spot for locals and visitors to walk by the water. The small restaurant at the port is a casual place to sit and watch the boats come and go.
Visitors arriving by boat should check in with the harbour police and pay the mooring fee before 4 pm, or right away if arriving later. The harbour police office on Route de Lavaux is open around the clock for those who prefer to handle things in person.
Getting a permanent mooring in the communal port can take about ten years on the waiting list, and it used to take around thirty. The port is also set to be dredged by 50 centimeters (about 20 inches) to improve depth for boats.
