Kitzsteinhorn

Kitzsteinhorn is a mountain overlooking the Zell am See-Kaprun area and features a large glacier used for winter sports. Modern cable cars transport visitors to the summit above 3,000 meters, where a viewing platform called Top of Salzburg provides expansive views of surrounding peaks.

The area has long been a destination for visitors and developed into a popular winter sports location as lift systems were built over time. The glacier enabled year-round skiing at high elevations, making the region an international winter destination.

On the glacier sits the ICE CAMP, a special lounge built from snow and ice where visitors can enjoy drinks served in ice glasses. Even in summer, the ICE ARENA remains a unique space filled with snow and ice despite warm temperatures outside.
