Zoldo Valley Ski Area
Zoldo Valley Ski Area is a ski resort in the Val di Zoldo valley within the Italian Dolomites and features about 72 kilometers of connected slopes for all skill levels. The facility includes eight modern lift systems, including a completely renovated gondola called Delle Coste, which connects different elevation zones.
The ski area developed in Val di Zoldo, a region with ancient mountain settlement that later became significant during World War One, when this Dolomite area saw combat. The Giro della Grande Guerra route today commemorates this history, taking skiers past war-related landmarks along the mountain slopes.
The valley's name reflects its long settlement history in the Dolomites. Visitors notice how the small communities here maintain a slow pace of life, where families gather for meals and local events connect people to their mountain traditions.
The town of Pecol serves as the main hub with a ski pass office open daily and providing orientation guidance. Equipment rental is available at several locations, including Live Civetta, and multiple ski schools such as Funny Ski and Ski Civetta offer lessons for all experience levels.
The area offers night skiing under floodlights starting January 8th, allowing slopes to be used longer and creating a festive feeling. The new Zoldo Challenge is a timed race on the Cristelin 1 run, letting visitors test their speed.
