Parc du Pré Saint-Jean, Sports complex in Saint-Cloud, France
The Parc sportif Pré St-Jean is a public sports complex run by the Hauts-de-Seine department in Saint-Cloud, near the national estate. It offers football pitches, basketball, handball and volleyball courts, two outdoor tennis courts, an athletics track, and an archery area.
The site was developed from the early 1970s by the Hauts-de-Seine department as a sports space for the local population. It has been maintained since then and received the Eve environmental label in 2015.
The Parc sportif Pré St-Jean is used by schools, clubs, and local residents who come on their own. On weekends, the fields fill up with informal games and group training sessions that give the place a strong sense of community.
The complex is open year-round except during the year-end holidays. Individuals who want to use the tennis courts must register at the front desk on arrival, as advance booking is not available for public visitors.
The complex includes an archery area, one of the few publicly accessible ones in the area. This space is often overlooked by visitors who come mainly for the team sports.
