Park Książąt Mazowieckich, Park in Piaseczno, Poland
Park Książąt Mazowieckich is a public park in the center of Piaseczno, a town south of Warsaw, Poland. It has wide paths, old trees, a pond area, and a historic pavilion known as Poniatówka.
The area was once part of a Saxon-era estate, where a palace was built as a royal residence with a formal baroque garden. Over time, the garden was reshaped into a more natural park, and a few original features like the pavilion and old trees have survived to this day.
The park is open and free to enter at any time, with shaded paths and open lawns that suit walks in any season. Those interested in the history of the site should look out for the old trees and the Poniatówka pavilion.
Three of the oldest oak trees in the park have been given official names: Wincenty Balul, Książę Janusz I Stary, and Józef Aleksander Sułkowski. They are protected as natural monuments and are among the few living remnants of the original estate.
