PZD ROD "Przyroda"s P, Park in Czernica, Poland
PZD ROD "Przyroda" is a community garden park in Czernica, Poland, made up of individual plots, grassy paths, small sheds, and benches. The space is open and low-rise, with trees scattered throughout that provide shade over the walking areas.
The site was set up several decades ago as a plot garden for local families to grow food and flowers. Over the years, new plots were added and more trees were planted, slowly shaping the space into what it looks like today.
The park is signposted from the main road and can be reached on foot without difficulty. Morning and early afternoon are the best times to visit, as gardeners are most active and the paths are easier to navigate.
Many plot holders have built small wooden sheds or simple seating corners on their parcels, not to live in but to rest after working in the garden. This gives the whole area the feel of a collection of tiny private yards rather than a conventional park.
