Ain Damous Forest, Forest in Bizerte, Tunisia
Forêt Ain Damous is a pine forest in the Bizerte region of northern Tunisia. Shaded trails wind through the trees and lead toward a sandy beach along the Mediterranean coast.
The forest has been known and used by people from nearby villages for many generations. Over time, the land has stayed mostly free from large-scale construction, keeping much of its original character.
