The Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette de La Rabatelière is a listed historic monument and place of worship in the village of La Rabatelière, in the Vendée region of France. It consists of three main buildings, a monument to Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, a chapel, and a rosary space, set within a garden planted with tall conifers and exotic species.
The sanctuary was built in 1887 on land belonging to the Count of La Poëze, part of a broader wave of religious construction that followed the upheaval of the Vendée Wars in western France. It was listed as a historic monument in 1998, which granted it formal protection.
The sanctuary draws both pilgrims and curious visitors who come to walk its paths and sit in its garden. During religious feasts, small gatherings take place here, keeping local devotional traditions alive.
The site is in the village of La Rabatelière in the Vendée and is most easily reached by car, as public transport connections in the area are limited.
