Samcheok Ocean Rail Bike, Railbike station on the coast in Geundeok-myeon, South Korea
삼척 레일바이크 궁촌역 is a railbike station on the coast of Geundeok-myeon in South Korea. The track runs from here to Yonghwa station, following the shoreline for several kilometers, with two-seat and four-seat bikes available for riders.
The track follows a former railway line that once served as a transport route for the local region. After the line was decommissioned, the infrastructure was converted into a leisure facility open to visitors.
Booking in advance online is strongly recommended, as on-the-day availability can be limited. At the end of the route, a shuttle bus returns riders to the starting station.
Part of the route passes through a tunnel filled with colored lights and music, creating a sharp contrast with the open sea views on either side. Some visitors report that small drops of water fall from the tunnel ceiling during the ride.
