Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary

The Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary is a Gothic house of worship with three naves supported by six pairs of columns throughout its structure. The interior spans seven bays with cross vaults and detailed rib patterns, while decorative keystones accent the architectural design.

Founded in 1265 as České Budějovice was being established, construction of this church took approximately 35 years to complete around 1300. This extended building process shaped the city's early growth and development significantly.
