Uherčice Castle

The castle features five courtyards divided into ceremonial, residential, and agricultural sections, connected by extensive walled gardens and park areas.

After serving as both a collective farm and military base during different periods, the castle underwent substantial deterioration requiring extensive restoration work.

The castle complex maintains its designation as a national cultural monument, representing significant architectural developments from Renaissance through Neo-Classical periods.

Visitors can access parking facilities, refreshment areas, and designated spaces for bicycles while exploring the extensive castle grounds.

The castle recorded a substantial increase in visitor numbers from 1,431 in 2021 to 9,291 in 2022, indicating growing interest in this historical site.
