Čertovy skály

Čertovy skály is a sandstone conglomerate formation at the northern edge of Lidečko, stretching roughly 150 meters and rising up to 25 meters above the surrounding landscape. The ridge features vertical walls creating peaks of different shapes and sizes.

The site was designated as a protected natural monument by Czech authorities in 1966. This official protection ensures the geological formation remains safeguarded.

The rock faces serve as a popular training site for climbers who regularly visit the area. The named peaks reflect how people have come to know and use this place over time.

The location is accessible year-round via marked hiking trails and climbing routes. Tourist maps are helpful for navigating the surrounding hills and mountain areas.

The rock formation has individual peaks with specific names such as Kolébka, Plochá, and Čertova stěna that climbers and hikers recognize. These local names show how the rocks have become a known feature among outdoor enthusiasts.
