Čertovy skály

The sandstone conglomerate ridge extends for 150 meters in length and reaches heights of 25 meters above the surrounding landscape at the northern edge of Lidečko.

The Czech authorities designated this geological formation as a protected natural monument in 1966, preserving an area of 0.15 hectares for future generations.

The vertical rock faces of Čertovy skály serve as a training ground for climbing enthusiasts, featuring distinct peaks named Kolébka, Plochá, Čertova stěna, and Hladká.

Visitors can access marked hiking trails and climbing routes throughout the year, with tourist maps available for exploring the Vizovické hills and Javorníky west region.

The rocky ridge displays specific geological formations of sandstone conglomerate, creating natural vertical walls that stand prominently against the Czech countryside.
