Brno House of Arts, Contemporary art museum in Malinovského náměstí, Brno, Czech Republic
The Brno House of Arts features two exhibition buildings and three gallery spaces dedicated to contemporary art exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.
Originally constructed as Kaiser Franz-Josefs-Jubiläums Künstlerhaus, the building underwent reconstruction in functionalist style by architect Bohuslav Fuchs during 1946-1947.
The institution connects local and international artists with the public through exhibitions, workshops, and lectures focusing on visual arts, design, and architecture.
Located near other architectural landmarks in Brno, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM with tickets priced from 40 to 80 CZK.
The House of Lords of Kunštát, a Renaissance building added to the complex in 1958, includes Gallery G99 dedicated to presenting works by emerging artists.
