The 23-kilometer trail winds through limestone quarries, sandstone formations, and forests, featuring 40 educational stations across varied landscapes near Czech Switzerland National Park.
Rudolf Kögler established this educational path in 1941, marking the first nature trail in the Czech Republic, though it disappeared after World War II until 2006.
The trail integrates regional elements through preserved chapels, crosses, and educational stations that explain local geology, flora, and traditional regional activities.
Visitors can obtain trail maps at the information center in Krásná Lípa's town square and divide the journey into sections for comfortable exploration.
The trail includes a large geological relief map created by Rudolf Kögler in 1937, displaying regional formations across 50 square meters.
