Zámek Boskovice is an Empire-style château positioned on a hillside at the southern edge of town, featuring a large main hall that spans two floors and displays Dutch paintings. The château was built in 1819 by Franz Joseph von Dietrichstein on the site of a former Dominican monastery that had been closed during the Josephine reforms. The new construction rose from the foundations of the earlier religious building, marking a transformation of the location.
