Church of Our Lady of the Snow, Gothic church at Jungmann Square, Prague, Czech Republic

The Church of Our Lady of the Snow features a 34-meter-high vault, making it the tallest church ceiling in Prague.

King Charles IV founded the church in 1347 to commemorate his coronation, intending it to be the largest religious structure in Prague.

Religious paintings within the church depict a Roman legend of Virgin Mary appearing in a dream, indicating where to build the sanctuary.

The church opens daily from 9:00 to 18:00, with regular religious services at 8:00 and 18:00 on weekdays.

The current building represents only the presbytery of the original design, which planned for a 100-meter-long basilica with two towers.
