Zámek Horní Vidim is a château displaying baroque revival architectural features in Vidim. The complex forms an H-shaped arrangement of buildings surrounded by an English park containing rare tree species and water features with bridges.
The estate was built between 1635 and 1696 under the direction of Count František Karel Sweerts-Sporck and General Johann Böck. The property underwent significant modifications over the centuries that shaped its current form.
The western wing displays a garden facade with a balcony and projection that represents the most well-preserved section. Visitors can see the baroque revival architectural details quite clearly in this part.
The building has served as a retirement home since 1952 and received cultural monument protection status from the Czech Republic in May 1958. Access may be limited because the facility remains in active use today.
