Zelená Hora, Baroque château in Klášter, Czech Republic
The southern wing of Zelená Hora château extends 68 meters in length, featuring two original floors and a third floor added during the 19th century.
The first written record of this location dates to 1221, followed by construction of a stronghold between 1436 and 1454 by Hynek Krusina of Svamberk.
The Libuse hall within the château contains the discovery site of the Zelená Hora manuscript, alongside the Sternberk room with decorated ceiling paintings.
The château receives limited visitors, with recorded attendance of 160 people in 2022, and currently undergoes renovation works that affect accessibility.
The castle grounds include the church of the Assumption of the Virgin, constructed in 1688, and served as a filming location for multiple productions.
