Peliny is a protected nature reserve near Choceň featuring sandstone cliffs that rise sharply above the Tichá Orlice river valley. The area displays distinctive geological formations with varying heights and steep faces that define its landscape character.

The name Peliny comes from the Pelín mill, which stood here in the Middle Ages. Above the cliffs was the fortress Vranov, also called Koutníkov, of which almost nothing remains. The reserve was established in 1948 and covers 3.31 hectares.
