Peliny

Peliny is a protected nature reserve near Choceň featuring sandstone cliffs that rise sharply above the Tichá Orlice river valley. The area displays distinctive geological formations with varying heights and steep faces that define its landscape character.

The area takes its name from a mill first recorded in documents during the 15th century. It received formal protection in 1948 to preserve its geological formations for future generations.
