Aichelburg

Aichelburg is a stone castle situated above the Temny Dul valley in the Krkonos Mountains and commands views over the surrounding peaks. The structure features characteristic medieval defensive elements including fortified walls and stone towers designed for protection.

Construction took place as a memorial to a local nobleman whose family held influence in the area during the 1800s. Following a change in land ownership, the structure deteriorated before being restored and maintained in later years.

The name reflects ties to a noble family who shaped the region's past. Walking through the structure reveals how local aristocracy left their mark on the mountain landscape.

The structure can only be visited with a key obtained from a nearby information center. It is wise to check opening hours and return deadlines in advance, as access is time-limited.

Visitors must register their visit in a guest book and return the key within a set timeframe. This system allows the site to track usage and monitor the structure's condition.
