Akátová věž

Akátová věž is a cylindrical observation structure standing 17.7 meters tall with a diameter of 3.7 meters, built from concrete, metal, and acacia wood on Výhon hill. The tower features an open viewing platform accessible from inside the structure.

The tower was completed in 2009 as a modern addition to a region where archaeological discoveries show human settlements existed in prehistoric times near Blučina. Its construction reflects contemporary design in an area with ancient roots.

The structure sits among vineyards that shape the South Moravian landscape and reflect the long wine-making tradition of local communities. You can see how vineyard cultivation continues to define both the appearance and daily use of this region.

Visitors climb 76 wooden steps to reach the open viewing platform located at about 14.5 meters high. The hilltop location provides good views and makes the route a reasonable walk for most people.

The tower uses natural acacia wood combined with modern architectural design, creating a landmark that works as both an observation point and a destination on educational walking routes. This blend of traditional material and contemporary structure stands out in the local landscape.
