Údolí Hasiny u Lipence

Údolí Hasiny u Lipence is a protected valley with diverse plant species and sedimentary rock formations spanning approximately 16 hectares. The Hasina stream runs through this area and shapes the geological character of the landscape.

The area was designated as a protected natural site by local authorities in November 2002. This designation led to the establishment of ten educational stations along a walking path to make the geological history accessible to visitors.

The place functions as an outdoor classroom where students and visitors explore rock formations and fossils from the Cretaceous period. People regularly come here to observe the local landscape and understand its geological story firsthand.

The path has ten stations with information about geology and local plant and animal life. The route is well-marked and guides you past different rock formations that you can explore from start to finish.

Archaeological excavations in the valley uncovered stone tools and pottery fragments pointing to early human settlements. These findings show that people have used this area with its distinctive rock formations for a very long time.
