Schöbicht is a mountain summit near Zawidów in the border region between Poland and the Czech Republic. The peak offers views across forests and valleys on both sides of the frontier and is reached by marked hiking trails.
The mountain formed during the last ice age and shaped the current landscape of the range. The border region has long served as a transition area between different lands and peoples.
Local residents maintain traditional hiking customs that include annual gatherings at the summit during the summer solstice celebration.
The hike to the summit takes about two to three hours on marked trails starting near the Zawidów parking area. The best conditions for climbing are from late spring through early autumn.
The summit marks a natural boundary point where three distinct ecosystems intersect, creating a specialized habitat for mountain flora.
