Bazilika Panny Marie Pomocnice křesťanů, Minor basilica in Filipov, Czech Republic
The Maria-Hilf-Basilika stands with two front towers in Romanesque Revival style, featuring a single nave and a semicircular apse at its eastern end.
Following a reported Marian apparition to Magdalena Kade in 1866, the initial chapel was constructed between 1870 and 1873, with the basilica completed by 1885.
Every January 13th, Czech and German clergy gather at the basilica to commemorate the apparition date through multilingual religious ceremonies.
The basilica maintains regular Sunday services and monthly masses on the 13th, with visitors needing to arrange access through the Jiříkov parish office.
The basilica houses an 1888 Hermann Eule organ with 22 registers, along with the preserved wooden flooring from Magdalena Kade's original residence.
