Westfield Chodov, shopping mall in Prague
Westfield Chodov is a large shopping center in the Chodov neighborhood of Prague with four main floors, two underground parking levels, and wide corridors designed for easy movement. The building houses hundreds of shops, restaurants, a hypermarket, a modern cinema, and various services such as salons, banks, and travel agencies.
The shopping center was completed and opened in November 2005 after approximately 19 months of construction. Between 2015 and 2017, a major expansion added new shops, an enlarged food court, and a modern multiplex cinema.
The name Westfield Chodov connects an international brand with the local neighborhood. The spaces serve daily as a meeting point where locals and visitors browse, shop, or spend time together with friends and family.
The center is easily accessible by metro, bus, or car, with the metro station right next to it and over 2,000 parking spaces available. Visitors will find wide entrances, elevators, free WiFi, and rest areas for relaxing between shopping.
Originally known as Centrum Chodov, the shopping center was rebranded as Westfield Chodov in 2019 and became part of a global brand portfolio. This name change connected the local project with an internationally recognized chain and brought renewed attention to the center.
