Chocholík, Steel observation tower in Drnovice, Czech Republic.
The triangular steel structure reaches a height of 26 meters and contains 144 steps leading to an observation platform at 23 meters.
The current tower, built in 2011, replaced a wooden triangulation point structure that existed at this location until 1990.
The construction project materialized through local initiative and received financial support from European Data Project company, demonstrating community collaboration.
Two paths lead to the tower: a steep hiking trail marked in blue and a gentler route suitable for cyclists and strollers.
From the viewing platform at 389 meters above sea level, visitors can spot the basilica of Svatý Hostýn and, in clear weather, the peaks of Austrian Alps.
