Cibulka

Cibulka is a château with farm buildings and stables set on a wooded estate in Košíře. The structures are arranged within an expansive park landscape that invites walking and exploration.

The estate has roots reaching back to the 14th century, when it was owned by members of the royal court. The current structures were built later, as the property was transformed and developed over time.

The property displays artistic details from the early 1800s, including sandstone sculptures and wooden decorations scattered throughout the grounds. These pieces reflect the aesthetic choices that shaped how the place was designed and presented.

The estate is reachable by trams 9 or 10 from Anděl station, with stops near the entrance area. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes, as the grounds are expansive and paths lead through the park.

A Chinese-style pavilion from the 19th century stands on the grounds and functions as an observation point for the park. This structure is among the oldest of its type in the city and shows the European fascination with exotic architecture of that era.
