The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a baroque building in Třebovice with an ornately designed facade and richly decorated interior spaces. History
The building was substantially reconstructed in the 1740s following severe wartime damage, with architects T. Haffeanecker and A. Lurago overseeing the work. The renovation lasted about 15 years and gave it the form visitors see today.
Culture
The interior was decorated by painter Vilém Neuenherz, who created frescoes in 1743 depicting scenes from the lives of Saint Norbert and Mary. These artworks remain visible throughout the church today and tell religious stories across its walls.
