Bredas Lustschloss, Baroque summer palace in Lvová, Czech Republic
Bredas Lustschloss is a two-story Baroque palace featuring elegant stone fountains and tiered gardens. The grounds are decorated with eighteen classical sculptures spanning different periods.
The palace was built by Count Krystof Rudolf Breda as a summer residence between 1660 and 1680. The family coat of arms is positioned above the garden entrance.
The site is named after the Breda noble family and reflects the tastes of the Baroque era. Visitors can see how the garden was designed as a place for display and leisure.
The palace is open to visitors only during special events such as the Open Gardens Weekend. Access to the grounds is easiest by foot or car.
A water tower built in 1734 by Count Filip Josef Gallas supplied water to both this palace and nearby Lemberk Castle. This shared infrastructure reveals how the two estates were connected.
