Encovany, Renaissance château in Encovany, Czech Republic.

The château consists of four wings arranged around a square courtyard, featuring pilaster arcades on the west and south facades.

Built in 1602 on the site of a former fortress, the château was commissioned by Rudolf Zejdlic from Šenfeld before being acquired by the Lobkowicz family.

The interior spaces display rib vaulting and barrel vaults, with fragments of Renaissance paintings preserved in the tower and southwest corner.

The property requires extensive repairs and renovation work, with over ten million crowns invested in maintenance since the year 2000.

The château contains architectural elements from both Gothic and Renaissance periods, as evidenced by ground floor structural drawings.
