Radejčín, Observation tower in Prackovice nad Labem, Czech Republic.
Radejčín is an observation tower in the Czech Central Mountains with a wooden exterior that rises above the surrounding forest. Visitors climb interior spiral stairs to reach a viewing platform at height, where the landscape opens up in all directions.
The tower was built in 2009 and initially served both communications and tourism purposes. Public access opened in 2010 after permissions were secured.
The structure stands within the Czech Central Mountains Protected Area, following strict height regulations while serving both communication needs and tourism purposes.
The tower is reachable from Radejčín railway station via a marked hiking path that takes about half an hour. Sturdy footwear is advisable since the final approach uses unpaved trails.
On clear days, visitors can spot several prominent mountain peaks from the platform, including distant views across multiple valleys. Photography enthusiasts appreciate how the height provides a perspective of the regional geography rarely seen from ground level.
