The rectangular château features a mansard roof and pilasters on its entrance façade, incorporating classical architectural elements in its Empire period design.
Built in 1690 as a Baroque residence by Prince Jan Adam Ondřej of Liechtenstein, the château underwent reconstruction between 1813 and 1820 following fire damage.
The château grounds include an English-style park with the Temple of Friendship, an 18-meter obelisk, and a Knight's Hall decorated with Tuscan columns.
Located 22 kilometers southwest of Olomouc, the château now functions as a social care institution while maintaining public access for visitors.
The grounds contain stone structures from the Liechtenstein era, including Devil's Bridge connecting rocky formations within the park.
