The Buštěhrad Chateau stands on elevated ground with a spacious park in front and features symmetrical wings extending from its central section.
The château, constructed between 1747 and 1753, replaced a medieval fortress and was designed by prominent architect Kilián Ignaz Dientzenhofer.
The structure represents a fine example of Czech Baroque architecture and holds the status of a national cultural monument under state protection.
The château undergoes restoration work since 2019, with guided tours available during specific events like the annual Bushfest cultural festival.
Houses built within the ruins of the original medieval castle form a quarter called Starý Hrad, creating an architectural intersection of different periods.
