Vila Miloše Havla, 1940s residential villa in Hlubočepy, Czech Republic
Vila Milos Havel is a residential villa with American hacienda-style architecture situated in Hlubocepy. The building contains an indoor heated pool, fitness center, multiple saunas, massage facilities, and expansive grounds surrounding the structure.
Film producer Milos Havel commissioned architects Vladimir Gregr and Karel Skvor to build this villa in 1941, following an earlier wooden structure he had constructed. Communist-era policies later led to the seizure of his property.
The property became home to the Argentine Embassy after its original owner faced persecution. This shift transformed it into a diplomatic space that connected Prague to South America.
The villa operates today as an event venue for corporate meetings and social gatherings. Visitors should check availability beforehand, as the space is regularly booked for private and business occasions.
The garden grounds are legally separate from the villa building and belong to Romuald Kopun, a prominent banker and co-founder of Fio Bank. This unusual arrangement separates the house from its surrounding land.
